Why Should you Support Us?
If you’re a fan of the site, and in particular the podcast, we ask that you consider becoming a patron. Atheism may be a hot topic for many, but blogging about it certainly doesn’t pay the bills, and as far as advertising revenue is concerned, the truth is that we would rather have an advertisement-free environment. The site isn’t exactly corporate friendly, and we have no intention of changing that policy anytime soon.
With that said, the goal of memberships is to ask many of you to donate 20 dollars a year to help us to keep doing what we do. To encourage people to support us, we began recording a bonus podcast, which will be available to patrons only. This is our way of providing extra content to the people that want it the most. We will continue to produce our free atheist podcast, so anyone who thinks that $1.67 a month is too much money can continue to enjoy our show and the website without a fuss. However, those of you that would like to see both Ryan and myself succeed in this venture are invited to become patrons.
How it Works:
The setup is simple: after making a donation, TGA will create a membership for you. We will setup a login account for you which you can alter at anytime. By logging in, you will gain access to the radio show, and any membership only posts. Once we receive confirmation of payment (which can take a few days if you send checks via mail), you’ll receive an email with all the login information, and that’s it!
