DVD Launch Party was 100% delicious
Now if you’re like 99.999% of listeners, you probably live in some town most of us have never heard of, or you’re thousands of miles away on another continent. That’s why most of you missed out on ‘The Essentials DVD Release Party’, and boy, should you feel like a fool for not coming!
My mom – an expert chef of unparalleled ability – prepared an array of delicious food. As the picture above demonstrates, we had a selection of banana and carrot cake muffins, each with their own custom frosting. She made oatmeal raisin cookies and a few cakes just in case we weren’t already in a diabetic coma.
For my part, I made a homemade salsa and hummus that was a big hit with visitors. In addition to a large selection of deli meats, cheeses, olives, and other salty treats, there was even a delicious smoked salmon dip that was to die for.
Now, if you’re bummed out that you missed this fun party, have no fear: with my recent move to Toronto, I plan on holding more of these kinds of events once I get settled in (I’m staying with a friend, but I’m still effectively homeless). So, if you’re in the area and you’re excited by that possibility, you should email me your details so I can notify you in advance when I organize another party.
