Forums are back for “The 300”
As many of you may remember, TGA used to have a forum, but it made the site slow as balls (and was generally not being used enough to justify the bandwidth). I promised that as time went on, I would bring the forums back, and I have….sort of.
I’ve actually re-launched a forum on my other site, jacobfortin.com. I’ve made this site the temporary home (which explains why it’s so damn plain) for all things related to my pet project “The 300”. The site features blog updates on my status, thoughts on the 300 and its various founding ideas (flexible, like a Chinese gymnast), and a forum where members can introduce themselves, mention their goals in the organization, and even why they picked their number.
If you are a hard-core monthly member and don’t have your number yet, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have to manually create each profile (anyone worried about privacy, remember until you chose to do so, your ‘name’ will be a number to preserve your identity, if need be). Once the profile is done I recommend going to the ‘Introduction’ forum and letting other members know more about you. The forum can also be read by others, but until you become a member, you won’t be able to participate.
As a final thought, while many of you may be debating joining, consider the fact that you can quit at any time, and the fees are only 5 bucks a month (the cost of one cup of Starbucks coffee a month!). There isn’t much to risk, and a ton to gain.
