That’s what a million looks like

There aren’t many milestones I give a shit about, but reaching a million of something sure feels like an accomplishment to me. I’m proud to announce The Good Atheist Podcast has now been downloaded over a million times. Think about that for a second: it means if you played all of those podcasts back to back, I would be talking for over 85 years consecutively (or roughly an entire span of a human life). It also means my site has transferred some 20 terabytes of data, eating up valuable Internet real-estate that could have been used for porn.

So, what number do you think the next milestone should be? Do you think it’s possible for TGA to reach 10 million, or is that some kind of pipe dream?

Congrats Jacob. I wouldn’t be surprised if you reached 10 million in under 10 years. You are definitely On my top 5 favorite out of 58 podcasts I follow.

58 podcasts? Luis, you’re a maniac! How do you have time for anything else?

As a janitor for a local school, I’d be a fool to listen to just music. I have tons of alone time. I like to stimulate my brain while working. It makes the day feel like just a couple of hours. I also listen to podcasts while doing chores. They somehow help me concentrate and be very thorough with them.
