Well this has my vote for “Best Interview Ever, on TGA.” Great podcast, Jake.
Nietzsche was the philosopher who initially moved me away from Catholicism; I couldn’t beat his arguments.
Jacob Fortin
you just like it cuz it had Nietzsche
Tammy
this was a fantastic interview – one of the best IMHO

Jake, are you trying to be humble? Has Hell frozen over? Let me put it this way: that interview was like Dark Side of The Moon. Sure, all of Floyd’s records are good, but nothing really compares to Dark Side.

I spend so much time editing them that all I hear are the flaws. It’s not humility, just the other side of me that is self-loathing

I do agree about being forgiving as well, though I am firmly of the position that to forgive someone and to move on that person has to acknowledge that they did something wrong or at least unacceptable. I have a real issue with people being expected to forgive and forget when the object of those actions has shown no indication of changing the behaviour patterns that were the requirement of the forgiving in the first place.
