If another atheist podcaster wanted to interview you….would you do it?

If one religion were true which one would you wish it to be?

Two questions:
1. What do you think about Bradley Manning, and the whole Wikileaks thing? Do you think he was right to leak the documents and do you think he should be freed?
2. Are you a fan of manned space-exploration? Do you think it’s a waste of money, or do you think it’s worth it?

Hey Jacob!, I wanted you to just illuminate me on why abortion is ok, I mean call me ignorant, but essentially I feel icky for some reason when I say I do support Abortion, and I feel that I have an obligation as an atheist, gay liberal to support it and deep down I do, but there is like a big hole, it feels empty… or wrong to do so (And im pretty sure it´s not because any religious influence), I hope you understand what I mean and do you think im being irrational?

Do you believe that it is possible for an openly atheist individual to sucessfully run for an elected office? If not, do you see it becoming possible in the future?
Scott Jensen
Who are some of the people/feeds/blogs that you read daily?
Scott Jensen
Since it looks like Romney is going to be the front runner for President of the USA, could please expose all the douche-baggery of the LDS church history. For example: Joseph Smith being fined in court for a scammer. Marrying 13 year olds and saying that an angel will slice him open with a sword if he doesn’t follow polygamy. None of the original “witnesses” of the “golden plates” stayed as members in the church, they were all excommunicated. Trying to sell the original copyright to the Book of Mormon to publishers in Canada. Reformed Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Horses in the Americas, yet no fossils. Steel, heck even worked iron, in the Americas before the Spanish. Mountain Meadow Massacre. You can read more at http://exmormon.org/

Do you feel that the celebration of religiously based holidays (Christmas, Easter, and such), even when observed with the most secular of intentions, ultimately reinforces and helps strengthen religion? If yes, is the solution to create alternate “Bizzaro-Holidays,” ala Agnostimas and Heathen-Tag, that essentially have the same elements as their religious counterparts (exchanging of gifts, trees, etc.), but that marginalize atheists, because they are obviously an attempt to get the “cool stuff,” out of said holiday?
Scott Jensen
The newer religions stole all the holidays from the earlier polytheistic or nature based religions in an attempt to placate the demands of the people to continue to celebrate traditions. They just rubber stamped their stupid chosen god all over an existing celebration.
The holidays are not property of the religious and they should not be treated as such. We shouldn’t even acknowledge that they are celebrating “their” religious holiday, but wonder why they are celebrating our holiday. Find the roots to the celebration and ask them why they are adding all this extra garbage to our celebration. We need to turn the ownership around and stop feeling like we are following something the religions “created.” They didn’t create anything, but destroyed something that was open, free, fun and brought communities together. They turned it into something boring, structured and elitist.

Have you considered a polyamorous relationship?

You talked about wanting to keep this site advertisement free, but with all your talk of being poor, have you considered allowing it? A lot of the atheist blogs actually have religious ads on their pages, (FreeThoughtBlogs being the big one) so in a sense, religions are supporting atheist websites.

if I paid good, could I come and sit in on a recording of the good atheist?
