Don’t want to rain on the parade again, but this was apparently a one time thing, and they won’t be doing it again. It’s early on in this massive post: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2012/03/26/a-massive-reason-rally-recap-with-videos-and-behind-the-scenes-pictures/

Guess it’s a good thing you were able to make it, huh?

    Well that’s poop, Ashley!! 🙁
Good thing I went…! I figured it was too much money to do annually. I’m just holding on to the hope that something smaller pops up… Kind of like the RBB this weekend in my neck of the woods. That could be something we do more often…it’s a scaled down version of the same event. Plus the west coast feels pretty jaded, so I could totally see Griffith doing it at Camp Pendleton next year (provided there is a good turnout Saturday). Like Jake says, we need to increase our culture, so I think it’s going to be a little more often than every 5 years…

Dude, now I feel worse that I couldn’t find you at the Rally!
In my defense, I was not looking for a guy with a shaved head!

    Jacob,
We were sorry we did not see you at the rally.
We were talking to some people about podcasts, and your name came up.
Including my wife and me there was 7 people right there that wanted to talk to the great Good Atheist.
I was also sad to hear you got so wet, the two of us were there all day and we stayed dry.
We used this thing, perhaps you herd of, its called an umbrella.
Good news I was a Freebie member, and I did something I said I would never do.
Pay for a podcast, but I just became a paying member, keep up the good work.
We love ya, John & Debbi
P.S. This was the first time I got to see the face of the voice and I must say, you are much better looking as a cartoon.
