Toronto queers, your help is needed

I got an email the other day asking if I knew of any friendly LGBT places to get married.

I’m a huge fan of the show and listen religiously. You guys live in Canada correct? Well my girlfriend and I just moved to Buffalo a few months ago and are planning on going to Toronto to get married next summer. I’ve been doing some research and have come across some atheist officiators but was wondering if there were any (glbt friendly) in particular you could recommend?

Also as I have not yet been able to visit Toronto I was wondering if you could recommend any unique places in Toronto to get married. Would like some place gothic, weird or otherwise unconventional.

Thanks in advance for your advice and opinions,

Some of you more hard-core listeners may remember I had planned, at one time, to try and apply to become a registered “minister” so I could officiate weddings. This fell through once I realized the difficulty in getting such a title. Still, considering how many fans TGA has in Toronto, there’s bound to be a few people that can recommend some friendly places for you to get married. So what do you say, gang? Do you want to help a couple dedicated fans find a place to get hitched?

Oh my I can’t believe you posted this. Thanks so much!!!!

UPDATE: The NY senate just passed a gay marraige bill and 30 days after Coumo signs the bill gays and lesbians will be able to marry here in NY. So I might not be going to toronto afterall.

However I’ll still need an atheist/humanist officiators here in Buffalo. Since we’re just across the pond so to speek perhaps your listeners know of one here.

Thanks again guys! You exude awesomeness!!!!
