Just think: If the communication of information was not as ubiquitous (via ease of transmission) as it is today, it would be significantly more difficult to filter propaganda and bias out from our media engines. However, it sickens me that we have such diseased forms of information claiming to be sources of (unbiased) ‘news’. This MUST be stopped. Fox News (and other networks or programs) that tout their ‘news’-offering services should be fined when they are found to have intentionally subverted the minds of viewers. Fox, in particular, is an utterly disgusting entity.

Of course, though, Fox may (albeit unlikely) amend or retract the story, but the damage will have been done. Again, their intentionality is what is most provocative.

People keep saying, “Oh, there’s a difference between Fox news and Fox pundits.” But really, the people in my family do not really differentiate. If Beck or Billo say something, it’s straight from god himself. Blerg…I left journalism because of this sort of prevalent biased nonsense…but sometimes I feel a little guilty, because maybe I should have stayed to try and make a difference in the media.

I’m truly sick of the way Christians think they have it so hard. They ignore the millions of times they have it their way and criticize those who want the same freedoms they claim to support.
I was dragged to church yet again today to listen to the preacher explain how hard it is to be a Christian. Really? Yes, you poor things, being around the majority of people who agree with you, it’s so hard to have such a closely knit community and not have your family resent you, it must be a real struggle to go through those hardships.
Please excuse me as I shed a tear for your truly horrific plight of not having a religios message in every building.

The building itself should not be the issue, but the ceremony. If that has specific religious conatations then yes it violates. But, if it’s just held in the building and no specific religious observances are requested or demanded I see no problem.

Meanwhile, when the majority in local elections vote to legalize marijuana Fox isn’t quite so interested in what the majority wants. Or, bring it back to religion and the 1st Amendment, had that community been majority Muslim and someone was complaining about a Crescent and Star at a graduation ceremony do you think a Muslim parent would have been allowed on the air to talk about what the majority wants? Not likely. Certainly not alone with no other person on the panel they wouldn’t.
