    5. Discrimination towords the following: people of different ethnicities, the female gender, homosexuality, abortion, people of other religions, and people with no religion.

    6. The major cause of wars throught history.

From the Oxford English Dictionary :

    faith

    Pronunciation:/feɪθ/

    noun
    [mass noun]

    *
1 complete trust or confidence in someone or something:this restores one’s faith in politicians
    *
2 strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof.

Number 1 seems fine, and number 2 just about says it all with its last three words!

faith is irrational belief that there is hope in something that you can’t see and will never see. If you have faith, you are a complete moron, a hick, an ass, thoughtless, racist, a bigot, a killer, the evil that is everything wrong in this world.

Faith is belief in absence of or despite evidence.

    Simple and to the point.

Faith is a vehement belief that despite all contrary evidence, and distinct absence of supporting evidence, one’s ideological viewpoint is correct.

Religion is like a penis – it’s ok to have one, it’s perfectly fine to be proud of it, just don’t whip it out in public And DONT shove it down my kids’ throat.

Haha, George Michael ftw, and LMAO at Jacob’s comment on Religion.

I don’t think I can improve upon any of the aforementioned definitions, so I’ll just stick my toe in the water and say that I approve of these messages! 😛

Just so all of you know, spending all your free time talking about religion makes you all just as bad as super religious morons. Or maybe worse for feeling superior, quite arrogant really.

I posted [updated really] some definitions of how atheists view the Christians faith. Then, I posted how Christians define their own faith. Since atheists often times post straw-men arguments about and to us… you can see the evidence of this in how they define an important piece of our walk.
