Scooby-Don’t
I’ve gotten a few emails asking me why I bothered to feature a comic section when most of them appear to be dated last October. Well, that’s because the comics are making a comeback in 2011, and I thought I might give you a little preview. Since I talked about Joseph Ratzinger on my last Bonus show (I refuse to call this guy by his role-playing nickname, Benedict XVI) in light of all the new revelations of priestly abuse in Germany, this comic needs to go up.
So stay tuned in 2011 for some new comics, and thanks for all you members out there that continue to support what I do. It would all be impossible without your patronage.

Nice cartoon! But why the hat Jacob? Don’t get me wrong, it suits you, but I don’t recall seeing yourself or Shaggy ever wearing such a hat previously? It’s very Indiana Jones and I pondered if it was a Jacob-Shaggy-Indiana hybrid you were going for? All three are investigators of the “supernatural” after all? Either way, nice hat!
PS The psychology of why you’ve cast Ryan as Thelma may be even more interesting then “the mystery of the unexplained hat”:-)

Actually, there are two reasons for the hat. First, it’s because Ryan and I have the same “haircut”, which often makes us look the same. The second is because I used to wear a hat like that all the time in college!

Ha-ha! Classic! You’ve got a nice style for your comics, and I’d love to see more. I’ll admit, one part of me thinks why we’re still talking about priests raping kids. But I figure but that would be because they KEEP RAPING KIDS! Hence why it’s nessecary to keep poking fun at the Catholic Church for hiding them.

Good reasons both! You could also have kept the moustache to avoid Ryan / Jacob confusion?
Great comic Jacob, new site looks great and the podcasts are definitely at their funniest and most informative. Keep it up (with or without the hat).

Cat’s name is Saban (Satan with a “b”). Long time listeners of the show will remember some early episodes when the cat starts meowing like crazy, and I’d yell at it.

@RIMON Unfortunately I have to admit I was wrong. But at least I was wrong while trying to go along with the immortal line from every Scooby Doo!
