Hi! I’m a new listener and thought I’d go back and listen to all the old free shows, but Episodes 0 and 1 seem to have gone missing. Episode 2 plays fine, so it appears to be just the first two. Could you resurrect them, please?

i’ll also mention that bonus episodes 1-6 and regular episodes 1-66 aren’t showing up in itunes for me. it might just be me though, and if so, are there other means to obtain the missing shows?

I’ve tried to fix Episode 0 and 1, but I can’t get them to work. As for you cry, no one has complained of a similar problem. It might be you. If anyone else has this issue, please let me know.

This missing episode business has come up before, I think there are a few that have been lost for all time. If I remember correctly, Jacob asked some time ago if any listeners who had downloaded missing shows could pass them on so the gaps in the library could be plugged. I’m not sure how successful that was.

Well, that’s a shame. In that case, could you edit the posts of missing episodes and add a note at the top of each saying that it is unavailable, so new people don’t have to keep ‘rediscovering’ this problem over and over?
Someone who starts at the beginning might give up after the first two in a row don’t work.

Found another one in need of a ‘missing’ note: Episode 9, the Scientology one.
I also happened to notice that this post (Bonus Show 53) doesn’t seem to be showing up in the Podcast category.

More missing:
Episodes 11, 12, and 13

Hey, I found some more evidence that S.E. Cupp is just pretending to be an atheist for a future conversion – something I believed since I first watched an interview with her. She said her favorite books were The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel and Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. I can’t believe that an atheist’s favorite books are the standard books of Christian apologetics.

^Annonymous, that’s just because of a fucked up property of this template. Long story short, don’t worry about it.

^ Not sure if you’re talking about this post not showing up in the podcast category properly… other bonus shows do, so why not this one? Seems odd.
Apparently there’s no plans to bother to add notes to the broken/missing episodes either, but as I continue finding them since I’m listening to (or trying to listen to) them all anyway, I’ll continue posting comments here listing them for the heck of it. (I sure didn’t choose the best post to do that on, though, since it just had to be one that isn’t in the podcast category… I’d simply picked what was the most recent podcast-related post on the blog home page at the time.)
I keep hoping each missing one will be the last, but no such luck so far. Such a shame for this well-done show to have so many episodes unhearable!
So, more missing:
Episode 16,
Episode 17,
and ‘Special Edition’ episode from March 13, 2008

I don’t have those shows. Lost them a while ago. Anyone with them, please contact me.

After listening to a long run of available episodes, here’s another MIA:
