Best and Worst moments of TGA

As you might be aware if you’re a fan of the podcast, TGA is about to celebrate show #100. Yes folks, we made it, and all it took was blood, sweat and eating cat food for a whole year (ok, so maybe it was just tuna)! With this historic number, I thought it might be interesting to get you guys to send us your opinions of our worst/best moments in the show. Was there anything super funny you couldn’t stop laughing at for days? Did I make a typical blunder that made you slightly uncomfortable, or cringe uncontrollably? Be sure to include as many comments as you can, and we’ll be sure to talk about them as well. The show is going to be up this weekend, so you have a few days to come up with something.

Christians are scary
10:37 amIf you don’t like the violent rhetoric of modern day Christian, then you don’t know the Bible, baby! He hasn’t called you to debate. If this guy had his way, everyone would be equipped with breastplates and swords, fighting the unbelievers. If the Bible had been written today, would that be replaced with bulletproof vest and holy grenades? Hey, thanks for being uncompromisingly insane, Rod Parsley. You remind us all of the violent nature of religion.

If there are two things that will never change about Christians it’s this: 1) they will continue to be generally ignorant about history (like thinking that the pledge was something the Founding Fathers invented, or forgetting that “under God” was put there in the 50′s), and 2) no matter how inoffensive your godless billboard is, they will always be offended that some people out there don’t believe in their crazy bullshit.

Are you seriously going on camera, with that scarf, and think we’re going to be fooled into thinking that you’ve successfully “turned straight”? The way I see it, you can either learn to deal with your love for pole and recognize that the Bible is just a bunch of nonsensical fairy tales, or you can continue to be miserable and feel like a sinful piece of shit for the rest of your life. Which one sounds the most fun, honestly?

We got a lot of great questions asked for this special mailbag episode, and I hope you were all ready for a HUGE show. Let me just warn you now that it went a little long folks. It’s a whopping 82 minutes of answering your questions. To be fair, you didn’t ask a lot of yes or no ones, and you all know my passion for tangents. So if you’re a real fan you’re in for a treat; otherwise, get ready to ration this shit out for days. Go listen to it now!
