I’m no kin to the monkey

We’re the only species on this planet that continues to deny the truth about our heritage. Maybe we’re also the only ones actually capable of doing so, but it still seems pretty fucking childish to deny what is as plain as day: you’re a hairless ape, and no amount of kicking and screaming is going to change that fact. Would you rather have been created out of dirt instead?

Man, we really gotta start telling creationists we have a common ancestor with Curious George, rather than coming from him and his friends (man in yellow hat excluded). Then the WHY ARE THERE STILL MONKEYS argument is invalid!
I love Yahoo Answers, so many lols.

Its been a while since I looked it up but the buybull thumpers are wrong! Again!
The original Hebrew translates to and g0d created man from the ‘scum of the earth’(not ‘dirt’) which could anything! including monkeys. Hey they say we are in g0ds image. Maybe he scooped a pile of schite to make Adam? That would explain a lot about xtians.

Can animals approve or deny their true heritage? How do you know we are the only ones – Dr. Doolittle???

Well, if the evolution of human beings from monkey is true, then how do you explain those real monkeys that haven’t evolved like us? No offence to monkeys, they are decent species but I’d rather believe that I came from dirt and was created by God.

I love this song! I learned it in Sunday school as a child and now sing it to my children. I’m so glad you posted it, I didn’t know all of the verses but I do now. What you meant for evil God meant for good….
