From the dates that they are given you can assume that only one of them is even close to being a first hand account, and that only says there was a man that they regretted killing, and that his followers thought they'd seen him. so from that you have one possible first hand account that says very little, 2 second hand accounts and a lot of peoples musings based on the bible, not particularly compelling to be honest. Look at their adoption policies - they will allow non-catholics to adopt from them if and only if the adoptive couple (heterosexuals only for them) agrees to raise the child catholic. They are the wealthiest institution in the world, and they want to make sure that they have plenty of customers in the future to keep that up.
