It amazes me at just how arrogant creationists are in light of the fact that they believe quite literally in a fairy tale explanation as to the origin of species. Here they parody the “Mac vs PC” commercials attempting to be both funny and relevant. It’s neither. Hey morons, if you want to try and “debate” evolution, maybe it’s time you did a little bit of research in the following fields: biology, genetics, geology, physics, cosmology, and palentology, to name a few. you’ll find that there is so much overwhelming evidence in favor of evolution that people in the know are simply confounded by the depths of your ignorance. If you’ll excuse me, I need to get off the computer before I smash my head against the wall…

Isn’t this copyright infringement? It’s not really a parody of the original, it’s just using the cache the original had to catch someone’s eye and direct their attention to the creationists’ stupid message.

Try to post anything on tangle.com. They will review your post first before letting it go online. Got to love those Christian sites.

Wait… they want us to find ALL the transitional fossils?

“Okay guys, here’s millions upon millions of each possible change to the fossil record. See, this is a bacteria, and this bacteria here has evolved a light sensitive patch, this next bacteria here has evolved a slightly more sensitive light sensitive patch, this next one has evolved a slightly easier way to…”

    Goalposts my friends, goalposts.

I joined Tangle for the single purpose of trolling their comments. They review every single comment, then there is no way to search for your comments later. Besides that hassle, it’s been fun. They haven’t censored me yet. I was also quite surprised to see an atheist video posted there. Maybe they got lazy for a moment.

I think to deny any possibility of something more our there, is to deny the whole principal of science….we are merely human beings and there are some things beyond our scope of comprehension, does that mean that there is no chance that god (or some kind of higher consciousness) doesn’t exist? no, but it sure as hell doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible….Darwin’s theory was bashed and denied for quite sometime before it became accepted, and his theory still has flaws….so who the hell are we to say that someone is a moron or an idiot, when we have endured persecution for our own beliefs or lack there of???? Hypocrisy and ignorance at it’s finest….Unless you can give 100 percent proof that there is no way on earth that intelligent design is possible you should just keep quiet….I am not talking intelligent design as in god put this and that here to make adam and eve, Im talking about the possibility of some life form or some type of consciousness that brought this world into existence…..My only advice is that to blindly follow religion or science for that matter is to do a great injustice to ourselves….knowledge is power, and if we stop looking just because the majority tells us to put faith in one theory, we are keeping our selves in the dark….

I think this video could be safely classified as a straw-man argument. What a couple of annoying twits.

    @ScientificDogmaisDangerous

Atheists in general don’t “deny any possibility of something more out there”, we just want a little proof if there is.

And I always find myself irritated when anyone refers to us as “merely human beings”. We’ve split the atom, been to the Moon, and developed many other remarkable and reliable technological achievements, all thanks to science. I think Humans have much to be proud of.

I also don’t think it is reasonable to expect “100 percent proof” of anything. We don’t even have 100% proof the Earth is flat. Heck, the best Mathematicians in the world can’t even prove 1 plus 1 is 2.

“…knowledge is power, and if we stop looking just because the majority tells us to put faith in one theory, we are keeping our selves in the dark…” Evolution and it’s active force Natural Selection do not require faith, they are used routinely in the Agricultural and Pharmaceutical industries amongst others, and even in some experimental Engineering projects (Aircraft wing design). They also fit in rather nicely with other proven science. To accommodate Creationism, we’d have to rethink everything from Biology to Cosmology.

lol provide 100% explanation of anything. I mean anything at all.

In fact. Provide 100% proof of intelligent design or any creationist theories.

    heck provide 25% proof…….

Wait. 99% of I.D. Theory was nothing but attempting to critic evolution as revealed in the court case in dover.

The largest fallacy of creationists/I.D. theories is that they think that if evolution doesn’t somehow currently have an answer for everything it will default to there idea. There are in fact about 20 better theories in between. None of them with anywhere near the same proof as evolution.

Why creationists are scorned and laughed at by us and other is that they say things like “there are no transitional fossils” or especially. As I’ve challenged creationists many times.

Explain your own theory and it’s proofs. They can’t. (I know more about there own so called theory than most of them do)

If you can’t explain your own idea and it’s proofs without going on about evolution for most of it than perhaps you’ve answered your own question about how much proof evolution has.

Right from the get go they’re trying to downgrade what Evolution is.

“Hi I’m Creationism” “Hi I’m the theory of evolution”.

It should have been “Hi I’m the myth of creationism” “Hi I’m the Scientific theory of evolution”

Or “Hi I’m creationism” “Hi I’m Evoltuion”

Why give one its prefix but not to other?

    Hmmm.

Evolution – lots of evidence. Not 100% of all evidence, but enough to be reasonably certain that some form of our theory of evolution is true. It will probably always be tweaked, but the essentials are there.

Creationism – no evidence whatsoever. Relies on blind faith.

Perhaps the people making the video just got the two characters mixed up.

Unless creationism have a little more than, oh, let’s say… 0% proof that their ideas (I can’t bring myself to call it a theory) then I suggest they keep quiet.
