Cool show. Some notes on my thoughts below.

    * My sleep cycle is horrible. 3-4am is my normal sleep time and I’ve been seeing the sun come up a lot lately.
    * Politicians are dinosaur age 🙂 Evil old men aren’t dying because they have the money for the proper care.
    * On December 22, 2001 was when the shoe bomber came around.
    * I think the main reason people are freaking out about the fruit of the boom because it was that close to blowing up. I agree, invading Yemen is dumb, but I can see how looking into things more because of him actually getting on the plane with explosives that ‘should have’ worked, is something people are doing.
    * I don’t wear a seat belt normally, but I tend to do it more lately for some reason. And yeah, driving is way more dangerous than flying.
    * JESUS FUCKING CHRIST – Stephen Baldwin is a dumb fucking moron. YOU ARE AN APE!!!!!!!!! haha that part cracked me up.
    * My girlfriend used to get panic attacks damn near every day, for about a year straight. She’s only getting them once a month or so now, but those things are no joke.
    * I heard about Stephen Baldwin would let his child die because he’d see her in heaven. What a douchebag.
    * I don’t think this new family will spend time in jail either. It’s sad, but DAMN, do they need to be put away forever.
    * Ben Henderson is a great fighter, but I hate him because he is always screaming about God. Joe Rogan is funny as hell too. I agree though how athletes can push through things because of their belief in god. It’s just that they’re putting their mind in a positive space, even without god involved it will still work.
    * Dr Phil is NOT any type of self help guru. He’s a douchebag. period 🙂
    * I officially need to send a check in to get a membership. This is one of the few podcasts I can actually listen to without thinking “these guys are fucking dumb”. Thanks for that 🙂

    Hey Everyone,
I’ve had a little too much to drink tonight. So I have the false encouragement to ask this question, here it goes:
Why is life: A. Reacting in a way that is yet to be defined mathematically? I.e. What additional forces are applied to the atoms that make up a living object compared to a non-living object? B. Why the fuck is life so fucking interested in making sure it survives? Answer these questions scientifically and it will stop every deity believing being in their tracks. The problem is that even our leading atheist minds can’t answer these questions. These 2 questions are still so profound that it hints at mysticism. It obviously isn’t super natural but it’s damn easy for simple minds to think it is.
Atheists these days are having a good crack at pointing out the absurdity of Bronze Age beliefs. But what about us atheists that are well beyond needing to be convinced? Evolution and mathematics spell out the how. But it’s the reasons why that so many are still clinging on to the belief in higher intelligence.
I’m not that smart. Maybe I’m missing something completely. Appreciate it if you could touch on this in one of your podcasts.
    P.S. – Wasn’t sure where I should have posted this comment!? : )

This whole argument about matter being created from nothing is going to be blown out of the water in the near future.

I’ll bet a cartoon of XXXX that JULIAN BARBOUR’s theory of there being no such thing as time will be universally excepted by all leading physicists in the not so distant future. It makes perfect sense that time is an illusion that exists only in living creatures minds.

I’ll bet a further 6 pack of XXX that this will lead to a theory that explains that matter has always existed.
