Isn’t religion great?

Jewish Girl Prank Calls Her Parents – Watch more Funny Videos
I seriously hope this was totally scripted, otherwise it’s pretty messed up. I didn’t find it particularly funny; I was more sad and angry that no one on this stupid radio show commented on the fact that this girl’s parents are a bunch of xenophobic jackasses. I’ve heard from some of my Jewish friends of the way some parents pressure their kids to marry within their religion, often saying crazy shit like “if you don’t marry a Jew you’re finishing Hitler’s work” or other such nonsense. In the age of cultural and ethnic diversity, such a strong reaction could only be possible through the divisive power of religion. Thanks for proving once again why your archaic beliefs are completely incompatible with modern society; you make a better case than I ever could.

Horrifying!

Religion, ruining the lives of young people since 5388 B.C.E.

“What did I do to deserve this, God, kill me with a knife…”

Replace ‘Jewish’ with ‘white’ and ‘Italian’ with ‘black’ and this would be scandalous.

Bruno, that is exactly it. Why do religious people get free reign to be bigoted racist shits? I am terrified for this girl.
-
Did I actually hear “He’s Italian, he could be a murderer” ???
-
It’s funny, but at the end of the day, the parents are still bigoted asswipes.
I kinda hope it’s not scripted, cos it is hilarious..

Disgusting. I hope someday this girl dates a lesbian, wiccan, agnostic, scientologist, nazi, camel just to piss them off.

Check out a jewish australian guy called John Safran. He went through the same issues. He invited his family and friends to his wedding… He married a muslim woman then told them it was a prank.

Is that a picture of the girl in question? She doesn’t look very religious to me!
It’s difficult not to laugh at this clip even though we shouldn’t. If it is a genuinely candid revelation, it is a shameful display of bigotry and probably shouldn’t have been aired (for entertainment purposes I mean). I’d be interested to hear what the stations’ listeners thought…

The religious paranoia is a wee bit obvious in this clip
Why do we vote to protect this freedom of hatred?
I have a hard time making up my mind if I should LOL or sit in quiet shock
At least this audio clip is a mirror to show how far we have come as a society…now less than 100% of the people agree with the parents
