Daniel Dennett is awesome

I was lucky enough to go to one of Dan’s lectures when he came to Montreal a few years ago. Dan is one of the “Four Horsemen”, but he doesn’t really get the respect he rightly deserves. Dan is funny, provocative, and looks like a cross between Santa Clause and Charles Darwin. What’s not to love? I know it’s long, but WATCH THIS!

Ah, I watched this a while back as well. I’ve found that most lectures from Dan are entertaining and informative, and I’ve truly grown to respect the man.
Plus, I just love how he starts this video off by putting up the comparison shots of him and Darwin. xD

I like Dan Dennett and have liked a number of talks/lectures i’ve seen him give. This one wasn’t among my favourites.
Might have been i just wasn’t in the mood for it, but i got a little bored with it.
