I’m not sure how you can call yourself a good atheist and say, ‘it’s a fucking offensive book’. If you think Christians are bad you’re not setting a good example for your own group of people.
@Arynn – Jesus hating. I really don’t understand how hate brings love and isn’t that the reason for some major conflicts.
@Shanler – Begin Gay is sin as a Christian the Bible is the authority in this. Being pro sin isn’t really why Jesus went to the cross.

Well…Let’s set your stereotypes of Christians aside for a moment shall we? We’re not all Dick Cheney loving conservatives. Statistically, it’s a fairly even split (accounting for different regions and different time frames of course). I’m a radical, progressive christian–pro-feminist, pro queer and transgender rights, pro-evolution, anti-fascist, pro-peace, etc etc.

And I for one think this Crumb Bible rendition looks really interesting and I’m excited to check it out!

I will always treat the Bible with the respect it deserves, since it deserves no respect at all. It just enhances the feeling of shame I have for the human race.
