“Creation” finally gets US distributor

Remember how embarrassing it was that the movie “Creation“, the story of Charles Darwin’s loss of faith, couldn’t find a US distributor? Well, it finally looks like a company with a bit of guts finally picked it up. Newmarket is an indie movie distributor, so don’t expect to see this playing at your local movie theater. Also, they’re going to be waiting until Christmas before showing it (no fucking idea why).

While it’s nice to see it got picked up, it’s still pretty lame that a no-name distributor had to step in, while the major ones completely pussied out. It’ll probably be going straight to DVD now, like some “B list” Wesley Snipes action movie. That’s just sad…
