Ryan and I will be recording a show later today about the “coming” apocalypse of Dec. 12 2012, and I thought I’d include this video so you could get pumped about the podcast. Here’s my favorite quote: “History has a surprisingly accurate track record for those who say the end is almost near”…Uh, what the fuck does that mean? How can anyone have been accurate about improperly predicting the end of the world? I think the very fact that we are still here seems to prove that statement to be, oh, I don’t know, entirely MADE UP!!!

    It would seem that you are correct. As the end of the world has not yet happened, it would appear that statistically, claims that the end of the world were nigh were, um, false.

    We laugh our way through the 2012 promos. We’re throwing a party–my teens are SO excited.

    It’s illogical to quibble over the date of a non-event, but I’m pretty sure it is supposed to be 12.21.2012, not 12.12.2012.

    I’m looking forward to the movie 2012, I always love a good end of the word movie.
    and remember the future is uncertain and the end is always near.
