Being gay in Iraq is deadly

If you think the struggle for acceptance is tough on gays in america, just imagine how hard it must be for these guys. Although the report says there may be hundreds dead, that number itself is just a rough approximation. I’m sure they are in fact much higher, considering how violent the retributions have been so far. If you don’t think this has anything to do with religion and the culture of homophobia it breeds, what else do you think it is?

Unfortunately, the way they’re “finding” these gay people is by torturing others for information. Some people may just be saying a guy is gay just to stop the torturing. Its become a witch hunt.
