Now she’s pissed

Sometimes when you’re in this “atheist game”, you get a little frustrated and annoyed when religious people make absurd claims like “god cured me of cancer” when they are at a hospital. Hot Atheist Chick looks like she’s about to snap!

I love this video, especially the last bit. I could not agree more! So many people go through life saying that god had helped them overcome a myriad of difficult things in their lives, but looking at this, I always think that it does say something profound about those people as human beings. They truly have absolutely no belief whatsoever in themselves and that is sad. If you went through a difficult, heartbreaking, or downright traumatic incident in your life and you were able to overcome it, it has absolutely nothing to do with what “god helped with,” because you overcame that. You. No one else. No imaginary entity. And what’s so bad about that?

Call me shallow for saying this, but if more atheists looked like her, there would be more atheists.

As an Atheist we need the satanist to keep speaking so we can know who they are and take note.
-
I think we as a movement need to follow the Mark Steyn approach to political conquest. In other words we need to have babies. Lots and lots of atheist babies.

you tell them girl!

Why are all the sickness or illnesses or “miracles” things that could get better anyway with honest human effort. god doesn’t re-grow limbs or bring people back from the dead. If he were truly omnipotent would this be the same as any other miracle? Yet that doesn’t happen. How can one justify this?

Nice Crucifix necklace.
-
FT, it’s an ankh.
-
Stunted. Absolutely stunted. Atheists seem stuck at about a three-year-old level emotionally, especially as it pertains to pain and difficulties. Why is that?
-
@FT: that’s an Ankh, not a crucifix.
I love Criss’ videos!

makarlos,
Please explain how you think atheists are stunted emotionally. I’m genuinely curious how you came to that conclusion.

So true. When one kid survives a plane crash, then “god saved them.” Evidently he didn’t give a crap about all the other people on board, or he would’ve helped the plane land safely.
-
I’ll be back later to read the answer to the question from “chocobar”. I’m curious too.

TinaFCD,
If you click his name and read his blog, it pretty much sums up his theists beliefs. He’s misrepresenting what atheists are and what we think.
