If the donor is a business owner or a high-profile figure, he is probably afraid that his public image would suffer if he made his identity known. It is through actions like this though that atheism will become more socially acceptable, and guys like this won't have to be anonymous anymore. Anonymously donating so that one day he might no longer have to donate anonymously. Try saying that three times fast. Also, I really enjoyed Olbermann referring to RL as a bag of mashed-up jackass.
