Pathetic video attempts to make atheism appear evil

This video attempts to make a direct link between atheists like Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins with psychotic revolutionaries like Maximilien Robespierre. The only problem, of course, is Robespierre was actually a deist, and although he may have called himself reasonable and rational, I think this quote obviously shows the man was not quite right in the head:

If virtue be the spring of a popular government in times of peace, the spring of that government during a revolution is virtue combined with terror: virtue, without which terror is destructive; terror, without which virtue is impotent. Terror is only justice prompt, severe and inflexible; it is then an emanation of virtue; it is less a distinct principle than a natural consequence of the general principle of democracy, applied to the most pressing wants of the country. … The government in a revolution is the despotism of liberty against tyranny

Yeah, he really does sound like the friendly and amiable Dawkins, right? Look, the French Revolution was a pretty messed up time, but it isn’t an indication of what happens when a country loses their religion; it’s more of an example of what can happen during times of incredible political upheaval.

Ah for fuck sake! Hitler was a fucking catholic, and the myth about the columbine killer asking some girl if she believed in god, and when she answered ‘Yes’, killing her, has been proven to be just that: A MYTH!

This is so stupid. I used to work at pre-school and not one of those kids would use any arguments as stupid and senseless as this about anything. It’s so pathetically dumb, it actually hurts me. Now I got a fucking migraine. Thank you Mr Good Atheist! 🙂
