Iraqi militia torturing and killing gays

It’s bad enough the situation is Iraq is a mess; now we have to deal with the knowledge the Iraqi military is engaging in some sick and twisted tactics to torture and kill homosexuals in the country:

“A prominent Iraqi human rights activist says that Iraqi militia have deployed a painful form of torture against homosexuals by closing their anuses using ‘Iranian gum.’ …Yina Mohammad told that, ‘Iraqi militias have deployed an unprecedented form of torture against homosexuals by using a very strong glue that will close their anus.’ According to her, the new substance ‘is known as the American hum, which is an Iranian-manufactured glue that if applied to the skin, sticks to it and can only be removed by surgery. After they glue the anuses of homosexuals, they give them a drink that causes diarrhea. Since the anus is closed, the diarrhea causes death. Videos of this form of torture are being distributed on mobile cellphones in Iraq.’”

Reports are sketchy, but over 60 gay men have been killed since December, and many fear for their lives. The video above is a disturbing report about the state of affairs in Iraq, and the news is not encouraging for their gay population.

This only amplifies the failure of the West to inculcate our values and moral ideals in the Middle East. Islamic countries will always be a deadly place for homosexuals, all because of a religion bent on their annihilation. Just another example of how Islam is a ‘religion of peace’, eh?

    ‘Isn’t it funny?’

Just looking back at our own history, and the way we impact it, and how it affects everyone around us.

Why did we start settling in the “New World”, when by all assumptions, we were doing so well in Europe, and all those eastern countries that all of our ancestors came from… Grade 5 taught us that we did it for the high demand for spices and teas, and all the raw materials the planet Earth has to offer, and with that, we discovered so much more then what we thought was possible. At the time, I’m sure we still thought the world was flat, and that there would come a time where we just fall to our infinite deaths much like a giant water fall…

When we first arrived to shore by boats, after perhaps months of drifting the ocean, and came to realize that we weren’t the only inhabitants to the “New World”, as possible hoped. They forcibly insisted to co-existing with the “native” cultures. To understand how to survive, period. When we could no longer live with them, they were fought off, and reduced by large numbers, in order to become the minority, which is to say, have no say or rather control of future beings. Land was divided, property was taken, peoples lives were destroyed… All for the sake of our today’s “society”. So who’s to say what is right or wrong?

We now have laws that are enforced to protect the ways of life for nothing more then for the purpose of historic reasons, to preserve the way of life of the native culture to this land we call North America, until the day comes that there is no need to preserve it any longer. Its called Extinction! And when that day comes, the only thing left will be in museums. That is Fact!

Who’s to say the impact we’re having in the Middle East right now isn’t negatively affecting the native inhabitants of those countries… And that the result of us being there or not, is nothing more then history repeating its self… We have a tendancy to do that you know!

My final words are… they are in my thoughts. I’m not all for being gay, and/or practising it, or perhaps even accepting it personally, but I will not be prejudice to the choices that others make for them selves. But we have to realise that there is no “perfect” way of doing anything, and that we are all differnt, and that we are just going to have to deal with it.
